Purchasing a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you may make in your lifetime. Our Homebuyer Education Program provides the knowledge and guidance you need to make informed decisions and prepare for successful, sustainable homeownership. The program includes a four-hour homebuyer education class and a minimum of four hours of individual counseling with one of our housing counselors throughout your homebuying process. Completion of the class and required counseling hours is necessary to be considered for eligible down payment assistance and grant opportunities, along with meeting any additional program requirements. The class and counseling sessions are completely free of charge.

A physical intake packet will be provided for you to complete when you arrive at the workshop. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow sufficient time for check-in and completion of the required paperwork.
