Purchasing a home is one of the most significant financial decisions you may make in your lifetime. Our Homebuyer Education Program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to make informed decisions throughout the homebuying process and prepare for successful, sustainable homeownership. The program includes a four-hour homebuyer education class, as well as four individual, one-on-one counseling sessions with one of our certified housing counselors. These counseling sessions provide personalized guidance and support as you work toward your homeownership goals. To be eligible for applicable down payment assistance and grant opportunities, participants must complete both the homebuyer education class and the required individual counseling sessions, along with any additional program-specific eligibility requirements. There is no cost to participate. The homebuyer education class and individual housing counseling sessions are provided free of charge to eligible participants. We are committed to helping you build the knowledge, confidence, and financial readiness needed to achieve and sustain successful homeownership. Completion of the class and required counseling hours is necessary to be considered for eligible down payment assistance and grant opportunities, along with meeting any additional program requirements. The class and counseling sessions are completely free of charge.

Please note: Participants who do not complete and submit the required online intake packet by the deadline will not receive the Zoom link for the class.
